Your Tasks

  • You will work on industrial projects with a high mathematical proportion and adjacent mathematics projects and conduct applied research, e.g., in the Theory of Games, Fluid Dynamics, Computer Graphics, Data Science, or Graph Theory
  • You will research underlying principles and develop alternative and mathematically reliable solutions to put our project work on a mathematically established basis
  • If you are interested in academic research, the following possibilities exist:
    • Industry Ph.D. in cooperation with our top-class partners from the research sector
    • You will participate in research applications and publications and present research results at conferences
    • You will cooperate with universities and research institutes and initiate and supervise master theses

Your Profile

  • An outstanding master’s degree or Ph.D. with a solid affinity for mathematics and its applications, e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Informatics, and other natural sciences
  • Knowledge of at least one higher programing language, e.g., Python, C#, C++, Java, or Matlab
  • Having fun with applied Mathematics and abstract questions in a technologically innovative field
  • You are open to broadening your spectrum in Mathematics
  • You are interested in undertaking responsibility
  • Innovative spirit, personal initiative, and joy for learning and working meticulously
  • Good communication abilities, having fun with constant team exchange, and a good portion of humor
  • Excellent knowledge of German or English
