Your Tasks

  • You are a creative catalyst for innovative ideas, shaping technological visions together with your interdisciplinary colleagues and acquiring suitable (inter)national research projects for them.
  • You identify innovation trends and derive a future-oriented alignment of our core topics, including AI, Autonomous Driving, Edge Computing, Green Technology, HMI, Future Engineering, Data Science, Systems Engineering, Virtual Experience, and Quantum Computing.
  • You coordinate research initiatives internally and externally, actively network with partners, build consortia, and independently identify appropriate funding instruments.
  • You develop complex high-end methods, create scientific case studies, and present research findings at international conferences, universities, and with industry partners.
  • You investigate underlying principles and develop alternative, scientifically robust solutions to provide a solid foundation for our project work.
  • With particular aptitude, there is an additional opportunity for an industrial doctorate in cooperation with our distinguished partners from the research community.

Your Profile

  • Excellent Master’s degree or PhD with a strong affinity for mathematics and its applications, e.g., mathematics, computer science, physics, or other natural sciences.
  • Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language, such as Python, C#, C++, Java, or Matlab.
  • Enthusiasm for applied research and problem-solving in abstract technical and innovative environments.
  • Preferably experience in acquiring and coordinating international, collaborative research projects.
  • Strong skills in leading and moderating discussions, motivational ability, confident presentation skills, and a pronounced sense of self-reliance.
  • Innovative mindset, sense of responsibility, initiative, and joy in learning and tinkering.
  • Very good English skills, an open-minded personality, and ideally some international experience.
