Your Tasks
- You will proactively advise our customers in all dimensions of virtual product development and work closely with them
- You will model complex technical systems and physical relationships, e.g. in the context of autonomous and automated driving
- You will answer technical questions using numerical methods, big data analysis or artificial intelligence and are responsible for their implementation and analysis
- Prepare component models, system models and overall models as part of the simulation processes
- Carry out simulations in the overall vehicle and at a component level.
- Evaluate simulation results and identify interdependencies
- Develop optimization proposals for design and system improvement and advise our customers on issues in this area
- Work on the further development of our simulation environments and methods for the preparation, execution and analysis of simulations and optimization of the overall process
Your Profile
- Completed degree with good grades in Engineering or Natural Sciences (Computational Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle and Engine Technology, Aeronautics and Aerospace), Mathematics or Physics
- Very good knowledge of at least one high-level programming language such as C++, C#, Python, Matlab, VBA or Java and much enjoyment in its application
- Advanced knowledge of at least one simulation method in the field of engineering (Fluid Dynamics, Multi-body Dynamics, Structural Dynamics, ...)
- Experiences in simulation software are desirable (e.g. CFD: StarCCM+, Fluent/CFX, OpenFOAM, PowerFLOW; FEM: Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, ... ; MKS: Simpack, Adams, ... ; CAE: ANSA, Hypermesh, Siemens NX, Catia)
- Some experience in the automotive sector and with the simulation or design tools used there
- An innovative spirit, ability to be proactive and love of learning
- Very good communication and teamwork skills and eagerness to work with team and customers
- Winning appearance and a good sense of humor
- Very good English skills
