Your Tasks
- You work on agile software projects and develop proof-of-concepts for the R&D departments of our premium customers in the areas of Connected and Autonomous Driving, Internet of Things, Model Based Systems Engineering as well as Artificial Intelligence.
- You develop novel software solutions in the areas of rich client, web client or cloud native applications.
- You develop and validate functions in simulation (HIL/XiL) and in real test trials.
- You accompany industry and research projects, from idea generation to the concept phase and implementation to validation and roll-out with the customer.
- You coordinate interdisciplinary projects in close coordination with our customers, including as a cloud developer, data-driven software engineer or full stack developer.
- You actively shape the software development processes with your ideas.
Your Profile
- Enthusiastic about technology. Excellent master's degree in computer science, technical cybernetics, mathematics, software engineering or similar, preferably with a PhD
- High IT affinity. Very good knowledge of a higher programming language such as C++, C#, Python or Java
- Advanced knowledge in at least one of the following areas:
- Databases, Web Apps, Networks or Middleware
- Sensor data processing and fusion, Embedded systems, Microcontrollers and control devices
- Microsoft Azure or Docker, software development following test-driven design, CI/CD, data analytics or artificial intelligence
- Ideally:
- Good knowledge of hardware-oriented programming or methodical understanding of abstract system and software design and with modeling languages such as UML or SysML
- First contact points with a game engine such as UnrealEngine or Unity as well as in agile software development (e.g. Scrum) desirable
- Thirst for knowledge. Innovative spirit, initiative, and enjoyment of learning and tinkering
- Strong communicator. Good communication skills and enjoyment of constant exchange within the team and with customers - also in German
